We declare that henceforth there shall be no Birthdays,
only Earthdays EVERY DAY!
Yes, we cannot control the weather, but we can determine how to beat it.So on this Earth Day AMG members turned off their lights and aircons and
came out to connect
directly with the earth.
(Of course, the IPL
kept some hardcores
glued to their TV sets).
The kids were super excited. They rolled on cool green grass, played hide-and-seek behind the hedges, dug holes/canals in the ground
and climbed anywhere as far as their legs could reach.
The moms too were thrilled because they don’t have to worry
about cooking and clean ups. However, some dads were bit
out of their usual “spirits”, but that was easily

The Ami Goenkar celebrated the Eid al Fitr with a get together at the Naseem Park. The throng and the vibrant atmosphere at the
park made it a fitting picnic-perfect spot.
The gleeful kids were busy playing their games while grownups had
their own share of fun playing and reviewing the rules of the long
forgotten typical Goan village games: Logorio, Koida Bhall…
Altogether it was a splendid and memorable outing. The main focus
of the event was to bring the members of the Goan community
together in a spirit of friendship.

ReplyDeleteAGM kids are rooting for some fun as soon as the exams are over. I suggest we decide on the fun rides at amusement park. Also AGM adults can have a small get together there itself - AGM Member

ReplyDeleteI don`t think AGM members need any sponsor for their own entertainment. "Excellent suggestion" should be seconded with a positive suggestion to move forward.Lets work on the 2nd suggestion and get it going before the summer sets in.I feel suggestions should be by revealing the identity.
